Overall, the CBSE Term 2 results for Class 12 are an important milestone for students. It is essential to examine the outcomes of the exams in order to understand the implications of the results. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared term 2 results for Class 12 on July 13th, 2020. Students have been eagerly awaiting their results after studying and giving their best in the board examinations.
This year, however, CBSE has taken a different route for declaring the results by using an ‘Assessment Scheme’ for the exams cancelled due to COVID-19. The assessment scheme replaces the cancelled CBSE board exams for theory papers in all the subjects with average marks obtained in the best 3 of all the other papers a student attempted in the same subject.
This scheme is a major cause of concern for those students who haven’t performed well in their pre-board exams. It puts them in a position that jeopardizes their future opportunities and career prospects.
Nevertheless, the results are out, and the students must now work towards the betterment of their future. Since schools were closed due to the nationwide lockdown, the CBSE is said to have made provisions for teachers and counselors to help students suffering from distress and anxiety by conducting telephonic and online counseling sessions.
The results can be accessed through digilocker, Umang App, Microsoft App, Manabadi, and different other websites.
We, at CBSE Board, congratulate the students on their results, and wish them a bright future ahead.
